Awesome Smiles September Stations ran for the first time in 2023 and Primary School teachers across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough downloaded the free resources for their exciting hands-on event.
Accredited by the British Society of Dental Hygiene and Therapy (BSDHT) the digital resource pack enabled schools to host activity stations for all year groups to have fun while gaining the knowledge and skills to care for their healthy smiles for life.
Smiling really is good for us!
With general health and mental health benefits as well as dental, good oral health and smiling can boost outcomes for children.
And as a thank you to all the hard-working teachers across the county all those who participated and completed the Awesome Smiles post-event survey were entered into our Awesome Smiles Luxury Pamper Hamper prize draw.
The hamper includes dental goodies from our friends at Tepe and a year’s supply of sugar free chewing gum kindly donated by Spry.😊
There are also some bath time relaxation treats🛀 and a snuggly fleece throw.💤
And to top it all off is our star prize⭐ of a gift voucher entitling the lucky winner to a month’s free combi membership at Cambridge Country Club⛳ which is valid 7 days a week for the month and includes both golf and health club access.🏊♂️
